Chess Sets
Chess sets are available as folding travel and fixed flat boards. The coloured sections are formed from inlaid contrasting timbers.
Ludo
This game of strategy can be played by 2,3 or 4 people. The object of this game is to get all your counters around the board and back to your coloured home base. The first person to manage this wins the game. The dice (included) determines how many places you can move your counter. If you land on an opponents counter that is knocked off and it has to start again. It is a good game for children to count in a fun way. Instructions included.
Mikado (Pick a Stick)
A game of skill where a steady hand and a good eye are needed. The pile of sticks is dropped and each player in turn tries to remove one stick at a time without disturbing all the other sticks. If anything moves that turn is finished and the next person has their turn. Sticks score different amounts according to their colours. When all the sticks have been taken the winner is the person with the highest number of points. Instructions included.
Draughts
Draughts is known as checkers in the US. This is a travel set with the draughts game kept inside a well made wooden box. When the box is opened the lid can be placed below the game as you can see in the photograph to hold it securely. The playing pieces can be moved from hole to hole taking the opponents' pieces buy jumping diagonally over them.

A game for up to six people the aim being to move your 8 pieces across to the opposite triangle. It is a game involving strategy and trying to think ahead. On each turn you may move one piece to an adjacent square or if possible you can jump over another pieceinto an empty hole. You are allowed to make several jumps in one go if you can. The winner is the first person to get all of their 8 pieces across the board. Instructions included.
Ball Mazes
We also have arange of ball mazes in square and round versions. The object is to gather the ball bearings in the centre by tilting the game - not as easy as it looks!
