In
2001 in the southern United States a group of artists were invited to
decorate life size resin pony models to produce works of art.
They were
exhibited as the Trail of the Painted Ponies in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Ponies
were then chosen to be sponsored and exhibited in prominent sites in
New Mexico and people followed a trail to see them. Each pony was then
auctioned for charity.
These pony
figurines have been created in ceramic or resin and are about 6 inches
(15cm). Inspired by the original Trail of the Painted Ponies artists
have continued to produce designs to add to the original collection.
Some painted
ponies are produced in limited quantities so the stock is constantly
changing. Follow this link to find our current Stock
