Flat Chess Board Sets
Beautifully made wooden chess sets. The squares are made from contrasting woods inlaid into the board. The chess pieces are supplied in a velvet drawstring bag. We have these chess boards in two sizes - 14 inches square and 10 inches square.

Folding Travel Chess Sets
We also stock folding travelling chess sets where the board forms a box containing the playing pieces. It can be opened out using a brass catch and the outsides of the box form the chess board.

Being compact and lightweight travel chess sets are ideal for travel and journeys. Of course the game still needs to be played on a level surface as the pieces can slide. Being turned from wood they are not magnetic! Like the flat chess boards the squares are made from two different woods inlaid into the box. Folding travel chess sets are available in two sizes - ten inches and six inches.
