This bowl is of good quality without obvious blemishes or chips but is not resonant when played. It does just about ring but is difficult to get going and the sound dies away quite quickly. You may have a use for this bowl (for energising elixirs maybe?) and get a quartz bowl at a greatly reduced price. The normal price is 120 pounds. One only including ring and suede playing stick.

Photo shows a crack in the base. The bowl arrived like this and we think that it occurred during production. It plays fairly well but we have no idea whether the crack will spread. Worth the risk at this price maybe?
